Transfer of Nahuel Molina to Roma
Roma has finalized the transfer of Argentine defender Nahuel Molina, who will join the Italian club as their new right-back. The deal is valued at €18 million with an annual salary of €2.7 million.
Molina, 28 years old, is set to undergo his medical exams in the next 24 hours and will join his new teammates for pre-season training camp in Wales.
Details of the Transfer
According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal includes a base fee of €13 million plus an additional €4 million. Fabrizio Romano and Sport Mediaset raise this total package to €18 million.
The long-term contract with Roma means Molina will earn €2.7 million annually during his stay in Serie A.
Molina returns to the Serie A after playing for Udinese from 2020 to 2022, when he completed a transfer worth €20 million to Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid has him until June of next year.
Roma was Molina's first choice, but Feyenoord rejected an offer of €28 million and Roma were not prepared to increase their offer for the 20-year-old Givairo Read.
