MD, Marca: Álvarez en contacto con Atlético para regresar a entrenamiento
According to reports by Marca and Mundo Deportivo on Monday morning, Julián Álvarez has been in touch with Atlético de Madrid as he begins to follow the club’s preseason training plan before reintegrating into the group next week. The club expects Alvarez back at Cerro del Espino next Monday.
Álvarez has been enjoying his holiday in Ibiza since Argentina's loss to Spain in last month's FIFA World Cup final, but one week before he is due back at the club’s suburban training complex, he is “now working with Atlético in mind” and the club believes he will be in Majadahonda as expected on August 10.
