The next Spanish Super Cup in 2027 will take place in Turkey. According to an organizing committee statement, the event’s final will be held at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium from February 2 to 7.

The final four of the tournament will feature Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad. The reigning champions of the Super Cup, Barcelona, which defeated Real Madrid in the 2026 final, expressed their wish for the event to return to Saudi Arabia in 2028.
Context
Since 2020, Saudi Arabia has hosted the tournament. However, it was decided to change the venue due to a clash with the Asian Cup, which is Asia’s premier men’s international football tournament.
The Spanish Super Cup brings together the winner and runner-up of La Liga and the Copa del Rey. This year, the champion will be determined by the teams mentioned above, who will compete against each other for the title as the best team in Spanish football in 2027.
