The 22-year-old, who previously played for Manchester City, has expressed a desire to join Barcelona. However, Atlético Madrid is hesitant to sell their best player to a domestic rival. According to reports, the club's chief executive, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, is scheduled to meet with Alvarez to discuss his future. Atlético Madrid would prefer to see Alvarez join Arsenal, and the Gunners are reportedly interested in the player.

Newcastle United

Newcastle United is in need of new players after losing several key players this summer.
